Lorenzo Giusti is an Italian art historian, curator and museum director.

Director of GAMeC in Bergamo, he served as Director of the MAN Museum in Nuoro from 2012 to 2017.
He has staged exhibitions dedicated to leading figures from twentieth-century art as well as contemporary art projects, collaborating with numerous artists such as Ragnar Kjartansson, Roman Signer, Thea Djordjadze, Francesco Gennari, Jenny Holzer, and many others.
The curator of the two major retrospectives dedicated to Maria Lai and Regina Cassolo Bracchi, he is the author of various essays on art of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
His special interests lie in the relationship between historical avant-gardes and contemporary languages as well as between ecological thinking and the visual arts.
In 2016 he joined the curatorial team of the Third Shenzhen Animation Biennale, and in 2018 that of the “curated by” festival in Vienna.
He also has curated group exhibitions in public and private institutions, including Triennale Milano (Thea Djordjadze-Fausto Melotti, 2017), FRAC Corse (Nomadisme, 2016) and Palazzo Strozzi in Florence (Green Platform, 2008) together with the long-term project The Trilogy of Matter at GAMeC Bergamo (2018–ongoing).
In 2017 he curated the symposium Museums at the Post-Digital Turn at OGR Turin. From 2019 to 2021, he has been curator of the Back to the Future section of Artissima Turin.
In 2020 he created the digital platform Radio GAMeC.
He has been President of AMACI – Associazione dei Musei d’Arte Contemporanea Italiani.
