“Odissea nell’arte” is a three-year course, traveling at the speed of light through 12,000 years of arts, stories and cultures. Every annuity can be followed independently from the others: in this way we can only opt for a period – we have already dealt with the centuries from Prehistory to Gothic, in 2020 it will be the turn of the era that goes from the Renaissance to Neoclassicism, and in 2021 we will deal with the movements starting from Romanticism to Contemporary – or enroll, from year to year, to complete them all.
Teachers of the course are Giovanna Brambilla, Head of Educational Services of GAMeC, Manuela Bandini, Museum Educator of GAMeC, Architect and Professor of the Liceo Scientifico “F. Lussana “, Silvia Gervasoni, Educator of the Carrara Academy and Professor of the Artistic High School” Manzù “and Daniela Mancia, GAMeC Museum Educator and qualified tourist guide.
Paolo Plebani, Conservator of the Accademia Carrara Foundation, and Giuliano Zanchi, Scientific Director of the A. Bernareggi Foundation, will be our “special guests” this year, called to address crucial issues and issues with wide-ranging interventions.
Aimed at young people interested in school who do not tackle this subject, to teachers who want a course that can fill a knowledge, or to adults and retirees with a passion for this subject, our “Odyssey” is designed as a map, to provide the coordinates essential cultural in the light of which to decipher and deepen one’s passions, to allow one to read the places one crosses, the exhibitions that one visits, the works one likes.
