Roberto Fassone, Beatrice Favaretto, Riccardo Giacconi and Caterina Erica Shanta are the winners of the Artists’ Film Italia Recovery Fund.

The project, promoted by Lo schermo dell’arte and conceived and curated by Leonardo Bigazzi, was born to support artists during the difficult phase due to the COVID-19 pandemic, showing that the only way to react the crisis is to create a system through a transversal collaboration model between institutions, curators and collectors who have joined the initiative with enthusiasm and generosity.

The jury composed by Andrea Lissoni, Artistic Director of Haus Der Kunst, Munich; Sarah Cosulich, Artistic Director of La Quadriennale di Roma; Lorenzo Giusti, Director of GAMeC; Lucrezia Calabrò Visconti, independent curator and Leonardo Bigazzi, curator of Lo schermo dell’arte and Artists’ Film Italia Recovery Fund, have selected Roberto Fassone, Beatrice Favaretto, Riccardo Giacconi and Caterina Erica Shanta as winners of the Artists’ Film Italia Recovery Fund production call, financed with € 27,000 through a crowdfunding campaign.

An edition of each work will be donated to the Collection of GAMeC.
