MEETING WITH ARTIST ANA SILVA
On Thursday, March 5, at 2:30 PM, artist Ana Silva will meet the students of the Politecnico delle Arti di Bergamo to present Eau, her first solo exhibition in an Italian institution, which addresses one of the most urgent issues of our time: access to water.
The meeting, open to the public without the need for prior registration, will showcase the works displayed in Spazio Zero: the sewn canvases from the Agua series, created specifically for the exhibition, as well as works from the Guardiãs and O Fardo / Vestir Memórias series, characterized by the use of embroidery as both an artistic and relational practice.

SUNDAY AT THE MUSEUM / ANA SILVA
Guided tour for adults
The visit explores Eau, a project by artist Ana Silva, developed through dialogue with a group of local embroiderers. At the heart of the exhibition is the issue of water as an unequal and contested resource, addressed through textile works created between Angola and Italy. The artist’s drawings are first entrusted to Angolan embroiderers and later reworked by hand, in a process intertwining roles, knowledge and geographies. Embroidery thus becomes a tool of testimony, transforming a patient and meticulous gesture into a powerful and necessary statement.
