Drops of Water, Threads of Stories
Workshop in Italian and LIS for families with children aged 5 and up
A picture book, read in Italian and in Sign Language, tells a story made of colorful threads, gestures, and possible connections. Starting from this narrative, and in dialogue with the works of artist Ana Silva presented at GAMeC, we explore how something new can be created by bringing together who we are and what we know how to do—using our hands, our voice, our body, and our imagination.

SUNDAY AT THE MUSEUM FOR FAMILIES / LET’S DRAW ART
Activity for families with children aged 6 to 11
A creative workshop for families where drawing, marks, and colors become tools to explore the work of some of the artists featured at GAMeC: the textile patterns of Ana Silva, the themes of connection and interaction in Tomás Saraceno’s work, and the expressive strength of Stefano Boccalini’s artisanal language.
During the activity, participants will be invited to bring out an idea, a thought, or a shared word. This concept—whether an existing term or a newly invented expression—will become a symbol of the connection with the artworks observed.
A special opportunity to look at art and turn the museum experience into a tangible memory to cherish as a family.
The activity is part of the Let’s Draw Art programme promoted by Abbonamento Musei Lombardia.
Cost: €3.00 per person
