URBAN DRIFTS. Walking as creative acts
Palazzo della Ragione
Piazza Vecchia, Bergamo Alta
Urban drift is an exploration practice that invites people to walk without a predetermined destination, letting themselves be guided by unexpected signs, details, and suggestions. Born from the psychogeographical experiences of Guy Debord, this way of crossing the city transforms urban space into a creative, collective, and surprising experience.
GAMeC offers a series of four events where the city becomes a ground for discovery and connection, through routes built together with the participants along the way.
The first meeting, dedicated to the theme Algorithms, takes shape through random constraints and game rules that direct the path: a color, a material, an urban sign, or the roll of a dice will guide the gaze toward details that are normally ignored, opening up new possibilities for observing and moving through the urban space.
Meeting point at the foot of the Staircase of Palazzo della Ragione, in Piazza Vecchia (Bergamo Alta)
Please note that the route may have accessibility limitations for people with disabilities or reduced mobility, and the itinerary might end at a different point from the starting location
Free activity for ages 12 and up (minors must be accompanied by an adult)
