Sottochiesa
Visit to the work Mother of Millions
The project, developed by Gaia Fugazza in collaboration with NAHR – Nature, Art & Habitat Residency, and presented in a typical Val Taleggio barn, is a large-scale sculpture made from Impruneta clay. Its surface is marked by incisions and colored pigments depicting plants, flowers, grazing animals, shepherd dogs, and transhumance meadows: visual fragments collected by the artist during her residency in the valley.
10:45 AM
Transfer to Val Brembilla
11:15 AM–12:15 PM
Val Brembilla (Loc. Gerosa)
Visit to the work Graces for Gerosa
Bianca Bondi’s Graces for Gerosa, developed in collaboration with the community of Val Brembilla, interacts with the architecture of the deconsecrated church of Santa Maria in Montanis, drawing on local history. Seven life-size headless figures, topped with bouquets of flowers, coral, and crystallized matter, stage a suspended choreography in which the bodies become vital containers of energy and renewal.

Visit to the fresco The Mountain Does Not Exist
Agnese Galiotto’s fresco creates a visual relationship between flight and Mount Albenza, which rises behind the building on which it is painted. A visually evocative narrative, it explores the theme of the relationship between humans and birds, a subject dear to the artist.
